There were a lot more kids running around in costumes then Roberto had anticipated. Granted, he hadn't really known what to anticipate, seeing as he'd never seen a festival like this before. Hard to have a harvest celebration when there was nothing but sand to harvest, after all. But it was cute, and feel-good fluff made for some nice little articles to pad out his submissions for the papers he wrote for.
He'd gotten a camera for this, because an article like this one would be useless without pictures. Groups of kids, teens, and families were more then happy to pose, eager to see themselves published.
He was taking a moment to thumb through the pictures, jotting down notes as he went so he knew which group was which, when he saw the fellow wandering through with a distinctly rattled look to him. Another echo? Hard to tell with this one, he looked pretty ordinary...
But he was also looking around like he had no idea what to do with himself or what was going on around him. All the aercons were busy celebrating, and knew what was going on. This guy was trying, but still stuck out like a sore thumb.
"Hey there. Not planning on dressing up for the holiday, huh?" As if Roberto was going to. He's way too old for nonsense like that. Unless one of his kids decide to drag him into it, he'll be staying out of the whole thing and just watching from the sidelines.
