After the rousing (although, admittedly strange) record breaking success of the Halloween Ball last year; The September Foundation (in partnership with Stark International) is once again hosting the terror inducing party of the year:
THE GHOULISH GATSBY.
Jazz age glitz mixed with the spook of the season promises to be full of swinging music, devilishly good treats and a costume ball to end all costume balls. For more information, visit www.septemberfoundation.org/gatsby and get your tickets before they’re all sold!
All proceeds go to The September Foundation, which works to support education world wide and provide the opportunities for the students to work on creating a better future through literacy, science and arts programs all over the world. The September Foundation also donates money and resources to thousands of schools worldwide to ensure that no matter who you are — you have access to the best and most accessible education possible.
The Ghoulish Gatsby is an all ages event, dinner and drinks are provided free of charge. One plate per guest except in noted exceptions for those who might require assistance or accompanying small children under the age of five. Alcohol will only be provided to those carrying photo ID upon arrival, no exceptions. A dress code of Black Tie dress is required to those not in costume. Era themed clothing is encouraged but not required, normal costumes are welcome as long as they adhere to dress code standards. Please see website for more details regarding costume regulations.
LAST YEAR, SOMETHING WENT WRONG - TOO BAD NOBODY CAN REMEMBER
Although the official records only ever mentioned how the previous party broke fundraising expectations and was a massive success; Stephen Strange is the only one who remembered the truth. How one year earlier, the delicate shift in the multiverse caused the Halloween Masquerade to turn potentially gruesome and deadly; and how it had taken the work of many to bring everyone home safely by dawn and banish dark forces once more. It was natural to expect that never again would such foolish mistakes be made — especially as every guest had needed their memories altered to protect the secrets of magic and the mystic world they’d been exposed to.
So everyone moved on blissfully, only holding modified positive and uneventful memories of the party before. Which is why nobody was concerned when suddenly the Sorcerer changed his mind and welcomed the party to return this year. Practically begging them too, to the delight of the foundation and its future guests.

You arrive to the party on Halloween night, invitation in hand and ready to get down and get spooky! Other than some slight odd behavior from the venue’s host (insisting he just hasn’t slept well) and a stressed out team of event coordinators, everything looks set to provide the best night ever!
Full dinner service, free bar, what more could you ask for? If only you could remember, then perhaps you’d know to keep your wits about you. Perhaps you’d have been more worried… for strange things happen at 177a Bleecker Street on Halloween, and if you’re not careful about what you see and believe… then you may not survive the night....

Or, you can sign up for Custom Night and be fed a custom string of events every two days. Featuring event prompts that won’t feature in the standard dash mode - allowing for extra angst and drama in your plots!
WEEKLY REAL-TIME ROLEPLAY SESSIONS: Once a week, there will be in character discord chats where you can join as your characters and interact with other participants in real time based on the current event prompts. A fun way to mingle with old partners and make some new ones!
IN GAME EVENTS EVERY SECOND DAY, SO YOU NEVER MISS OUT: In game events are triggered every forty eight hours, with room to revisit old ones at your choosing — so you never have to miss out on anything because of a busy schedule
