THREE FACTS:
I love to read, and it's what gave me the initial desire to write. These two go hand in hand for me, and that eventually lead into wanting to learn how to depict things visually. For words can inspire my imagination a lot, and it helped build my sensory/imagination. It's thanks to this I have madness swimming about playfully in my head.
I have had a canonical IP that I have developed for around twenty-five years. And it is my special therapy that helps me function as it is the bread and butter of my creative expression. It gives me meaning and a means of dealing with my various neuroses. This blog caters to a small part of that expression as I'd like to publish some day.
I have Synthesia and often times see and feel things beyond being an audiophile. I love to string videos together and make basically AMVS to soothe my need to synchronize music with visuals. For context- Synesthesia (American English) or synaesthesia (British English) is a perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences in other sensory or cognitive pathways.[2][3][4][5][6] Synesthesia can manifest as a bridge between the five traditional senses, though can also include other perceptions, such as nociception, thermoception, chronoception, and interoception.[7] People with synesthesia are referred to as synesthetes
EXPERIENCE:
⇁ HOW LONG (MONTHS/YEARS?):
I dunno when exactly I got into it with others, was sort of something I did with friends using notebooks for awhile in middle and high school till we found you could do this online. Dial up was a bitch. But I'd say between 11-13 is when I started writing in notebooks and the like, and then when I was 17 and got my first broadband internet, I found forums.
⇁PLATFORMS YOU’VE USED:
AIM, Forums, Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger, SKYPE, Discord, Telegram.
BEST EXPERIENCE: It started around 2010 when I met my unfortunately late friend Spoozy. She and I built a lot together, and she was very much the big sister I wished I had had. We wrote till 2013 before circumstances occurred IRL, and we lost contact till around 2016 where we reunited on Discord. I genuinely adored her characters and world, and she loved my own that we started to collaborate and grow together. Enter my second partner in crime and a lovely greeble they are, @runicillusionist And their lovely myriad of a cast. I fell in love, and to this day we still write, their worldbuilding and being a collaborative partner has been a blessing in my life, even in the advent of losing one so dear to the both of us. We shall always keep dear spoozy alive and all her goofiness.
MUSE PREFERENCES.
⇁ FEMALE OR MALE:
I am not strict on either, I am Agender, NB, and intersex, so my characters tend to have a lot of similarities. While I can play more feminine and masculine, it depends on what is needed more than anything and I will accommodate such.
⇁FLUFF, ANGST OR SMUT: • I don't really use any of these terms as I find that they devalue the actual meaning behind them save for the last. Fluff or what I'd call actual erotic passion, is one of my favorite things as I need chemistry above all else or a relationship is hopeless to me. If it's empty then what's the point? I like characters showing care and affection for the other, from simple words, actions, expressions, to even more intimate and passionate displays. • I also do not use the word angst due to the derogatory meaning usually associated with the word. I will write heartbreak, I will write a character being destroyed on all planes of existence, but I don't really construe breaking my babies with the word most abused in the 2010's and alternative rock. I enjoy writing sordid, and dark themes, Grimdark, horror, cosmic horror, body horror, psychological horror, angst seems unfitting in this representation. • I do not write smut, smut is empty and devoid of emotion. It's someone's one-night stand with every vulgarity used in a sentence to sound kinky and interesting. I do not engage in this empty nothing for myself. I write Erotica, and Passion, I want emotions, I want depth, I want something more creative than called a penis a cock, or a dick or the more disgraceful terms for a woman's nethers... That's the quickest way to turn me off. The body is beautiful to me, so I have little use for Vulgarity. I will however engage in the beauty of form and passionate romance however.
PLOTS OR MEMES.
Vastly will prefer plots and a bit more thought or construction as it allowed for more character development. But I'm not opposed to a crack pot when it's done right. It's how our mains @runicillusionist ended up, a complete crack ship of just...but what if? And apparently our characters took it as "Super glue time." Cause we can't separate them now.
⇁ LONG OR SHORT REPLIES:
Depends on the needs and ability of the partner, but I do prefer longer posts when able. I can understand if you need a couple of sentence if characters are rapid fire speaking, but describe the scene, the expressions, the moods...it helps me a lot so I know how my characters can formulate a response that is not OOC.
⇁BEST TIME TO WRITE:
What is a sleep schedule? I don't know. Pretty much I'll write whenever there is a response lest I'm somehow knocked out or the net is dead.
⇁ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSE(S):
They are all apart of the whole with their own distinctive differences, and yet sometimes we just synergize as one, and are at each others throats the next. It's a very....polarized relationship. But I would not trade it for any other thing.
