 It was already late enough, and he couldn’t help but let out a soft sigh. getting his papers ready for tomorrow, he couldn’t help but hear a knock on his door. Taking a moment, he put down his phone and paper and walked over to the door and opened it. Seeing the younger male, he titled his head and blinked.  

               “ Are you crazy --- why are you out in the rain. come in, come in.”

His hand pauses in stirring their dinner for the eve. Ignis blinks curiously at the comment. How random. It isn’t as though Noctis has never complimented him—just the current choice in subject seems to be odd.

“Thank you?” He replies, a bit unsure. “I’m glad you like it considering you’ve had to see it pretty much everyday for the past fifteen years.” Ignis finds himself laughing a bit, maybe Noct meant it as a joke.

    Leon crouched down and inspected the other man’s wound, which appeared to be a nasty slash down the upper portion of his arm. It could have happened from anything, but he hoped that the source wasn’t one of the appalling creatures crawling around the city.     He started to pull out a packet of green leaves from his pocket, “Here, eat some of these, they should help, at least until we can get you to someone who can fix you up right,” and handed the packet to the stranger.
