i’ve been searching for a nice choker in stores for the longest time but i can’t find any stores that sell cool ones anymore, meaning i can’t live out my subtle collar fantasies until i find one… i would just buy a collar from the pet store but i did that when i was 12 and got it confiscated by my parents eventually so i can’t be so overt about wearing something like that anymore….

puppy Dewdrop having a different collar for all his Sir’s or Ma’am’s and they all have something that makes them different.

Swiss gave him one of those spiked collars

Aether gave him a prong collar that’s been custom made to have pretty lavender leather on the outside with stars

Copia gave him one that was orange with flame decals

Mountain gave him a pretty traditional one, but with his element burned into the leather.

Cumulus’s was a dainty little thing with bells

Ifrit didn’t give him a physical one, just wraps his entire hand around Dewdrop’s throat

Chain, true to his name, gave him one made of chain’s

Perpetua’s was a deep purple with little bats

i could go on-

kittything that struggles adjusting to their first collar since catnapping them taking them in as a feral stray.

they can fight it all they want, but they eventually give up when they realize it’s not coming off. flopped over, defeated on the floor. they may have a vacant look in their eye. they might even shed a tear.

its important to reward them sweetly with lots of praise and scritches each time they stop struggling and just relax on their owner’s lap. rubbing their neck helps them get used to the sensation.

they will learn to like it, that little bit of tightness with every turn or tilt of their head. it is an ever-present reminder that their owner chose them for a reason.

you are theirs, and they will always take care of you.
