yeAh so I made this au to vent abt this weird shitty thing that’s been happening since the end of last school year and has been happen through my days since this school year started

So like, if I sit still for too long, I’ll fall asleep and go into a really vivid dream really quickly and then jolt awake. It’s really disorienting and I have no idea why it’s happening but Hey Cool AU Time

Despite having a quirk factor and missing the tell tale pinky toe bone that would point to him being quirkless, Izuku doesn’t exhibit any signs of manifesting one soon.

Fast forward years of bullying and discrimination due to his quirkless status, Izuku is caught under the bridge by the sludge villain. As he chokes on viscous sludgy villain mass, the near death experience triggers his dormant quirk and as his thoughts and heartbeat start to slow, he Nods Off.

Jarringly he wakes to find himself standing on a field pitch holding his broken finger. There are people congratulating him and This scary fuckn dude is smiling at him with glowing red ey- Oh my GOD IS THAT ERASERHEAD???!!!!

WHere am I??? Who are these people, when did I break a finger???? Hh whhY- whEn did my arms get so jacked?????

After being given the option to go home by the?? School nurse??? Pro Hero: RECOVERY GIRL???? he immediately attempts to reevaluate his surroundings and oh god UA??? What WAS HE DOING IN UA????????? it would be so easy to chalk this up to a dream, but the faint ache in his finger and clarity of sense tells him all he needs to know. It takes about half an hour to get there. The underpass. He stands there not really knowing why to do.

He’s back where he was hours ago, in the middle of chunks of villain goo and oh ok it’s time to vomit.

Basically, the event triggered a quirk that was never supposed to activate. Every so often Izuku- against his will- will find himself yOte through and across the timeline for a hot minute and then snapped Back to his original timeline right where he left off, giving him the tiniest babiest shred of precognition that confuses him and those around him- while also sometime appearing like a small confused idiot at seemingly random times- not knowing what’s happening- asking what day and year it is.
