reason:

1) he's literally the ace flag (white, grey, purple & black)

2) biting (vampires) in VnC is constantly depicted as a very sensual act, often intertwined with sexual attraction or romance. but as far as Noé goes, his thought on the matter seem to end at "blood yummy".

when he's not asked to bite specifically in order to see someone's memories, he bites at the wrist as much as the neck. and when his childhood friend (who's got a pretty obvious crush on him) bit him while clearly trying to infuse their interaction with that same sensuality, he just started giggling about how it tickled. I love him.

3) if you want to have fun on the "oh this man is a bit weird about romance all right" front, you can add that he literally asks his deuteragonist in the middle of a dance "What is Love?" and is very serious about wanting an answer

4) he loves cakes. so much. his brightest smiles are reserved to tarte tatin.

I can’t even be mad about Vanitas x Jeanne even though I ship him with Noé because like UGHHHHHHHH the stupid little straight people have my HEART

There are VERY few occasions where I ship a straight couple without outside influences, and same goes for not shipping a gay pairing (see the MCs of Buddy Daddies, who Soleil does not believe are in love) but Vanitas and Jeanne make me so happy

I hope they’re not doomed.
