my mum always used to make the "no egrets" joke whenever we saw an egret. I didn't know that anyone else made that joke, I thought that was just her being uniquely quirky. It's a nice reminder to see someone else using it, I hope you have many egrets and no regrets!
Ah, we weren't referencing anything in particular. Your mum was being uniquely quirky and we're also being uniquely quirky. :P
