The Myklebust Ship, believed to be the largest Viking ship ever discovered, stands as a testament to the ingenuity of Norse craftsmanship. At 30 meters (98 feet) long, this extraordinary vessel was uncovered in Nordfjordeid, Norway, within a cremation burial mound dating back over 1,000 years. Likely belonging to King Audbjørn of the Fjords, it symbolizes the power and prestige of Viking royalty.
Today, the ship is reborn at the Sagastad Viking Center, where a full-scale replica invites visitors to step into the world of the Vikings. Completed in 2019 using traditional techniques, the replica is not just for show—it’s fully seaworthy and occasionally launched on the fjord. The remains of 7,000 rivets and 44 shield bosses tell a story of strength and status, connecting us to a time when these ships ruled the seas.

There was a new Bluey episode. Everything was fine and cute and normal until Bandit, the father, went off on his own in the forest to fight a Viking (and won).
Viking!Simon was known among the locals because of his kindness. He was a grumpy one, almost never talked to anyone, just nodded or spoke with his actions. Many people were surprised that such big and strong viking, who easily can provide, still doesn't have a wife.
Viking!Simon who wore braids. His hair was long, man didn't even bother cutting it because of local kids who enjoyed playing with them and braiding when he sat still. For hours. The only thing kids were prohibited to do is pulling of his mask. No.
Viking!Simon whos settlement where he lived his whole life was burned to the ground by the enemy tribe and he had to pay them back.
Viking!Simon who stole you, enemy leader's daughter to get revenge. From that day, you had to live with him and you couldn't help but started to have feelings for him.
Viking!Simon that fed and washed you, listened to your endless talk but got annoyed when you talked about your family. From now on, he is your only family.
