There was nothing that Giovanna loved more than attending local gigs every weekend. When she learned an Oasis tribute gig would be happening on Friday night she was excited. Oasis was a band that she learned to love ever since childhood, yet her relationship with them was always a bit bittersweet. Her father loved them and he taught her to do it too. When things got complicated and he left it was difficult to listen to them because it reminded her too much of him and it was painful. Yet her love for their music was stronger in the end so she eventually learned to enjoy them again, little by little.
She was having a blast, screaming the lyrics from the top of her lungs and dancing all around. Then the band started playing Stop Crying Your Heart Out, a song that always got her in her feelings: a song her dad used to dedicate her whenever she was feeling down. She felt tears starting to form in her eyes but she didn’t want to start crying right there as the first chords started playing so she decided it was time to get another drink, to get a bit distracted. She wiped her eyes before she made it to the bar counter but that caused her to accidentally run into someone that was standing on her way. “Oh my God, I’m so sorry... I must have been too lost in the music”, she apologized, giving the other a warm smile.
