Sarcasm is a language he's well versed in and although Noel knows it's not befitting of a gracious host, he can't help but let it slip - it's a habit that's gotten him into more trouble than he can handle, but he hasn't been able to break it yet. There's a beer in each hand and as he casually sips from one, the brunet offers the other to the brooding male as a sort of peace offering.

"How are you holding up?" It's a simple question, and the earnest tone in which it is posed hints that the sentiment behind it is genuine. Noel is, after all, trying to be as gracious a host as he can be, and he figures the best way to accomplish that is to try and talk to as many people as she can.
She makes it easy, standing off to the side away from most of the other partygoers anyways.

It takes a little bit of casual - albeit awkward - conversation to get something of actual interest, and Noel is taken aback when he and Fayt come to a rather striking realization.
"Wait - you have the same birthday as me? Why didn't you say so in the first place, man?"

"Hey dude - I get it, you're excited to be here - but would'ya mind being more careful?" The house isn't his, after all; it's a gracious birthday gift for the night and while he knows that it'll just be a mess by the end of the night, Noel can certainly try and at least alleviate the damage.

He's not really sure whether to be flattered or insulted by the present - if it can even be called that - so instead he flashes the party-goer a shaky smile and hopes that will suffice.
