adhd writer rant: this movie could’ve delivered more on a lot of things but i love this scene. in badham basement, quentin finds evidence that they had been molested. and all the images are of nancy. i love that we don’t see the images (not that anyone should want to) from a writing standpoint. we have to imagine the horrific disgusting image that Quentin and Nancy saw. it makes it worse. we also get good insight into quentin’s character: he’s protective and willing to shield the ppl he cares even if its to their detriment. they need to see these images. they need to know that freddy isn’t innocent. he hides them from her. he doesn’t want her to see what he saw. the acting afterwards is great too. i just love this scene. wish there were more like it in the movie.
fanon: *quentin is so smart, cunning and always perceptive, never makes bad choices, he practically saves Nancy*
canon: *drives at 100 mph, goes go Swim Team after finding out he may have been m0lested, steals adrenaline, steals Nancy out of a hospital, swerves off the road*
in conclusion, he’s a smart-ish man

quentin cracks me tf up
like in nightmare on elm street, this man starts to uncover the secrets of the Badham Daycare... he finds out from Nancy’s mother that he may have been m0lested by Kreuger, he starts to believe he and Nancy are having traumatic flashbacks of these memories that are resulting in the psychosis of his friends (Jesse and Kris). Jesse is dead, Kris is dead, Dean is dead.
now time to go to Swim Team.
