Thanks for starting this blog! I kinda lost track of what was going on with french musicals when they started coming out with all the religious ones a few years ago, do you know what's up? what shows are active? Anything new and interesting to look out for?

Siddhartha l’opéra rock just closed within the past month, so I think we’re done with the religious musicals for a bit!

Most exciting with upcoming shows is the revival of Starmania that’s coming up this fall!  Other shows opening are Ghost le musical, Les Producteurs (the Producers), and le Roi Lion (the Lion King)!

can I just say lan telling jul to stay cause he got something to tell him absolutely obliterated me... this kid so used to put up a front to not be a problem for anyone and always wanting to fix things for others because that's the only way he knows voicing a need and "inconveniencing" (in his mind) jul stopping him from going home... I m s o f t 😭 i love everything you're doing with these two it's an absolute gift to be able to witness it and I'm holding my breath for what's to come. thank you

😭💘💘💘 THANK YOU !! I’m sooo happy and moved that you noticed!!! It’s such a small line but it’s definitely a big thing for him to say and much bolder than he usually is, so I was also like *screaming internally* as I wrote it 😂 

I tend to cycle through different styles of dialogue when writing Landon, I don’t write them to be noticeable, but it’s usually like: 1) speaking in the least amount of words possible, 2) back-tracking on things he says (”just kidding,” “--or something,” “no, I didn’t mean--”), and 3) using non-committal/indecisive language (”maybe,” “I guess,” “I think”), but for this chapter I’ve been having him be more decisive in his dialogues with Julian and I always get soooooo *heart beats hard* whenever I write it LOLOL 😂 I noticed some readers can tell Landon’s being more honest and opening up so I’m very pleased about it 😭💖

it's interesting that you found martino's speech about his mom harsher than isak's, I felt it was more raw, honest, and less snarky, it showed how his home situation affected him too. i'm sorry if it's cruel, i related to it a whole lot personally, a depressed parent messes you up. I remember feeling really off-put by isak's words (as it was meant to be, they have to elicit that kind of reaction, he's 'talking shit' in some way), less this time. Now I'm wondering if it's a matter of translations

hello! well, tbf - both of isak and martino’s comments are very cruel to say in general. it’s not that i don’t understand why they are feeling that way though bc it’s understandable that they do. 

but honestly it’s also a matter of perspectives; if you feel that isak’s comment was more harsh i can certainly understand that from your perspective. for me, personally, the fact that someone would say that they a) don’t want to spend a lot of time with me and b) they would go crazy bc of how my mental illness has an effect on me and them is a bit crushing. it’s mostly bc of the second thing that i’m like.. wow.. :(. it’s not a dig that skamitalia did so and i don’t dislike it though (as some people seem to think). it’s just different and an obversation and i felt like it was harsh. 

so for other people; don’t take my word for gospel please. it’s my view. doesn’t have to be yours.

Oh, that's what I was thinking about when I mentioned we'll have to settle with YouTube, but I wanted an app or something that allowed me to rate the movies. Since I can't find any that includes tv shows as well, YouTube'll have to do. Thank you anyway!
