  A clatter, a bang; debris slid with a sickening groan to floor. Rapture’s inhabitants were not the kindest of sorts. Those who still had their WITS about them were holed up, waiting for rescue that would never come. The rest were UNHINGED, lunatics running the asylum while a lone man tried to restore some semblance of ORDER. Oh, oh, oh! She had been watching since he entered Arcadia; filthy limbs dragging through plant life as he laid waste to the Godless heathens who had spliced their lives away. Friend, FOE? He had no physical ailments, no tumours or growths that spoke of a time long gone. Perhaps -- Oh, it couldn’t be true. It couldn’t, it couldn’t. Had PRAYERS finally been answered?   Skittishly, did she move out from the under brush; table that had been overturned having given her away. While caked in grit and clad in threadbare clothes, her pinched face and skeletal body were free of the marks of splicing, though the fires of INSANITY burned in her eyes. eyes, mouth, hands

EYES.

i’ve always imagined him having hazel eyes. they’re fairly large, but not excessively so, and they’re usually very bright and alert; unless he’s very tired (or very drunk), his eyes are almost never hooded. 

they’re also the best way to tell when a laugh or a smile is actually genuine: when he’s sincere, his eyes will tilt up and crinkle a lot around the outer edges; when he’s not, only his lips will move, and the crinkles around his eyes are a lot less pronounced. it’s subtle, but it’s there if you watch for it. 

MOUTH. 

eh, his lips are average. they’re not incredibly thin, but they’re not incredibly full -- they’re just sort of in between. he does have a habit of being expressive with them, though: he’s constantly pursing them in thought or pressing them together in frustration, and of course, he’s frequently smiling as well. 

HANDS. 

hey, a part of jekyll’s body we actually have description of in the book for once! “Now the hand of HenryJekyll... was professional in shape and size:it was large, firm, white and comely.” so -- that’s a pretty thorough description right there. he’s got fairly big hands, though i really don’t know how that’s particularly “professional,” and evidently they’re fairly attractive. how can a hand be attractive? who knows. 

the skin of his hands is fairly soft, given that the only work he does with his hands is in the lab. he does, however, frequently have little chemical stains littered all over them; as much as he tries to scrub them out, there are some that are just very stubborn.

Misconception: Liz couldn't leave the tower before Booker came around.

Elizabeth touches on the idea of leaving her tower briefly, mentioning how in using her tears she always “felt the need to come back,” meaning return to the home Comstock had provided for her in her tower. Easily she would have been able to go anywhere through use of her tears, but felt heavily obligated to stay in her world (noting that she felt the need to do so for her “family”).
