Holy crap yes. I think I’ve seen him live more than I’ve actually listened to his recorded stuff, but wow. I’m currently trying to track down his album “Hommage” since I couldn’t find it on iTunes. He might be the youngest in Bulhandang (he’s about a year older than me: 1983), but he definitely shows that he can keep up with the OGs. And Noise Mob, hands down one of my favorite project groups. If anything because he and Minos are hilarious together. Apparently Minos enjoys giving RHYME-A- a hard time – spent nearly the entire interview I did with them doing so – but RHYME-A- can definitely give it right back. ^_^ My translator and I were rolling with laughter the entire time.
And I know! The tracks she’s come out with this last year have been really good. And her stage presence has gotten much better from some of the earlier videos I’ve seen of her performing. She’s really good at adapting to the audience. At my charity show a couple weeks ago, as soon as she got on stage and saw it was mostly foreigners, she stopped speaking Korean and did the entire set in English. Which really got the crowd going, though most had never heard of her. Even though she performed some of the same songs, it had a completely different feel than when she performed this weekend with a Korean crowd. ^_^
