Between Iron Lung and Project Hail Mary I feel like cinema is back
Original ideas that stick to their source material wether it’s a book or a game
Using practical film making to its advantages and proving that it’s worth it because of the end result
Thousand of gallons of blood vs puppeteering for Rocky? I can’t imagine how cgi would have altered the end results of both of those things
By no means am I an expert or even have great film taste but between tasteless marvel projects being pumped out every 6 months and sequels to movies that didn’t do well in the first place it’s nice to see original ideas and perfect book/game adaptions
Hail Mary!
