THIS HAPPENS TONIGHT!

Rick & Ray is hosting the premiere of AHMAD’s short film Good Meat Makes Gravy at Nola’s in LA. (Yes, that's the 'Back in the Day' AHMAD.)

In the City of Angels, a struggling musician discovers that his wealthy girlfriend has been unfaithful. With hope in his heart and nothing in his pockets, he decides to move out, chase his dreams and possbily change his life forever. Featuring 2 original songs by AHMAD: “The Day” produced by GoonRock (producer of LMFAO’s global smash hits “Sexy & I Know It” and “Party Rock Anthem”) and “Thankful” produced by LA powerhouse, Shane Eli.

We have a great RIOT LA show this week with Andy Peters, Kyle Kinane, Rory Scovel, Brent Weinbach, Byron Bowers and Lizzy Cooperman...and maybe even a few more fun surprises. The show is open to all VIP Pass Holders for the RIOT LA fest. More info here.

This week's show also marks the end of our current run of shows at NOLA's in Downtown Los Angeles. It's been a great Summer of shows, meeting and working with a bunch of great performers. Our elder Saddies are ending the show for now to focus on some other fun comedy-related shenanigans but we fully expect to be back in the future with more great comedy, AKA some more sad people talking. We're pumped for a great lineup to end our current run of shows.

RAJ DESAI (@_rajdesai) will be performing at our show TONIGHT! Raj is a very funny comedian and writer who has performed on Comedy Central's Live at Gotham and the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson. He currently lives in Los Angeles and performs all around town. You can see more of Raj at his website!

KARL HESS (@karlhess) will be performing TONIGHT! Karl is a comedian/actor who was voted as one of the Best Underground Comics of 2011 by RooftopComedy.com. He has performed stand-up at many comedy festivals, including The Bridgetown Comedy Festival and Montreal Just For Laughs Festival.

ANDY KINDLER (@AndyKindler) will be performing at this week's show! We are SO VERY excited to have a comedy veteran like Andy come by this week. You have seen/heard him in TV shows like Everybody Loves Raymond, 'Til Death, The Life & Times of Tim, and Bob's Burgers. Andy is also a contributor to The Daily Show and known for his "State of the Industry" address at Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal.

NICK FLANAGAN (@theflans) will be our Host at this week's show! Nick is a very funny writer/comedian/singer. Originally from Toronto, Nick is the singer for the punk rock band, Brutal Knights, in which they combine musical notes with humorous lyrics. He claims to enjoy partying but the truth is that he rather be taking a nap. Oh, yeah and he has a comedy album out that you can buy on iTunes called, I'm Here All Weak!
