                                   Since her last visit with Jenny, Liliana had been thinking of her close friend any possible moment. It hadn’t made things easier, knowing she had once been in a hospital bed due to everything unfolding on that evening. With a break in her schedule, more of Liliana’s time has been spent around others. It meant more visits to Jenny which she didn’t mind because she preferred being around the female. Wrapped up in a blanket on her friends couch, Liliana had sighed before glancing over at Jenny. “What did we just watch?” Completely out of it, dark nut hues blinked multiple times in a row to process everything. Mind fucked. “Hm,” hummed Liliana, resting a hand on her cheek. “Yeah, never again. Do you want something to drink or eat?” Having made herself warm and welcomed in Jenny’s apartment from the first moment Lili had started to babysit Jake.

As he stood there in her doorway, he couldn’t help but suppress the growing smirk that tugged at the corners of his lips. Once the blonde answered the door, the words seemed to skip over his teeth and tumble off his tongue.

“How long would it take you to pack a bag?”

                          “It was a matter of time till I found the nerve to visit you, Nolan,” said Liliana, lingering in the hospital doorway before entering in. Her tone of voice hadn’t been its usual self, playful but now it struggles to show any upbeat manner in her. “I brought snacks, drinks, magazines and whatever else you demanded over texts. You can’t say I don’t spoil you right on back.” Walking over to the bed, Liliana had remembered to a chair to sit by the bed before lightly setting the bag full of items down. “How are you feeling?” Questioning with a forced smile, the atmosphere in the hospital sending shivers down her spine.

Calling All My Lovelies || Jenny&Chase

It had weeks now since the event and what happened at the masquerade. On the plus side, Chase was staying with Alex at his apartment and he didn’t have to deal with his parents or his grandmother for that matter. The only time he would see them was at the office from time to time but at least he was getting his space. Due to his quiet nature, he liked the privacy although being stuck due to the restrictions of his leg was making him go crazy. He didn’t know what more to do. So he started to text and call multiple friends for whatever purpose. Netflix watching, food eating, just talking or reading books together. Something to keep him sane at this point. All due to this broken leg he had. He didn’t even have it worse. There were others that were worse and still in the hospital for that matter. Friends of his that were still in recovery and knowing that made him seem selfish. 

All the whining he was doing didn’t compare to what some people were going through at the moment. It sucked, so Chase did something about it. He kept going back to the hospital to see those friends. One of them being the lovable blonde he adored dearly, Jenny. Surely she was going more stir crazy being in the hospital. He had stopped by once or twice before with other foods and entertainment values, and this visit was nearly the same. Getting some foods that were approved by the doctors and his tablet he got himself a wheel chair and wheeled his way to Jenny’s room. So he wasn’t struggling with his crutches and the food he carried for the long way to her room. 

Once there, he rolled his way up to the side of her bed. “Hey Jen Jen, your Chase dose and food is here. How are you doing?” Chase asked softly. Hoping she was doing well. @nolangirl

With both children in his hands, he approached the blonde by the bench, a stern look cast towards his sister, who gave the woman a sheepish look as she clutched her juice cup against her chest. “Hey, so... my sister spilled some juice on your son, and... she has something to say.” Gently urging the young girl towards Jacob’s mother, she began, “I’m sorry,” which was really all there was to it, though it didn’t seem that the boy minded that much, or at all. 

“We’re both sorry,” he added, letting go of the little boy so he could go up to his mother, before stooping don and picking his sister up to be carried in his arms. “Kids can just be a little clumsy, though, is all.” --- @nolangirl
