Qhuinn froze when it soon became very apparent that the ball had of course chosen to bounce off the ass of a man. Small hands began to shake as she took a deep breath. She couldn’t keep reacting like this every time she saw a man. Especially now that she had given up the shelter and isolation of her family home for life in a small town. She was a nurse, a cafe’ owner. A member of a supernatural community. Not every man was going to hurt her. At least this one seemed nice, or at least understanding.
“Well that sounds like it has a story behind it” Qhuinn laughed a little, the sound still coming out a bit nervous. “Thanks though. Guess I don’t know my own strength” Or rather, she was still getting used to it. “Ah, I’m Qhuinn. And this is Remus. We just got here a few days ago”
Francis noticed the reaction of the woman, shaking hands, a slight sweat response, and a swallow. There it was, someone who had recognized him, someone who had remembered the court case, and what had happened. He wanted to roll his eyes, but then she introduced herself. Interesting, not the usual response he got from people who recognized him.
"Happens to the best of us," he commented, forgoing the introduction. "You two enjoying Saintes so far?" he questioned as the dog ran back up with the ball. He held a hand out for the dog to smell, he liked dogs, they usually were much more interesting than people.
