The #vanlife community is widely dispersed. Many fellow nomads we meet chose this lifestyle to adventure, travel, and follow our roaming, wandering souls. It's always nice to run into people we've "met" online who share these motivations. . Joshua Tree is a home for us not only because of the amazing landscape, and world-class rock climbing. We also always meet other adventurers here. This time we've run into Pete, Tay and Snoop from @alwaystheroad AND Scott from @boldlyexplore AND Liz (and Matt and Zeke) from @wildbythemile AND @dylanmagaster ! . And there's always those "small world" stories too: our friend Mary of @2footadventures introduced us to Liz, who she'd met on the PCT. Matt also first met Mary on the PCT. . When you meet online friends with mutual interests in person, you quickly move beyond small talk. You already know some details about each other so it's comfortable to jump into deeper topics like philosophy, and dreams, goals and plans for the future. After a few days or hours together, you've forged a deep friendship. But we're all wanderers so the goodbyes come quickly too. The only solace is knowing it'll be twice as amazing to run into them next time.✌️ . #vanlifers #vanlifecommunity #nomadcommunity #vanlife #campervanculture (at Joshua Tree National Park)
