The draw of the open road and meeting others living this way already is what initially drew me in. It looked like a simple yet challenging lifestyle. Now, going on two years later, I see there’s much more to it than that. There’s this whole community of people who will support and help you reach your dreams and goals. A community full of new friends and nomads at various points of the journey. In 2020, I was a newbie to Vanlife. I built out my minivan camper and traveled to 4 National Parks. Across 14 states, I attended 8 meet-ups and even started my own website in the process. There is still a long way to go before I can mark all 63 National Parks and 48 states off my list.
