I just realized that I've focused my teenage years on love, lust, clothes and pointless drama. I mean everyone else probably does too but I did it while neglecting everything since I'm so "one track minded". Whatever that means. Now I'm trying to concentrate on just building a future but that means I'm going to have to forsake the rush of a new romantic possibility, all of the stylish icons, making any crazy friends, and perhaps even stop caring about how I look. Oh my god, why can't there be a delicate balance?
Here I go. Goodbye all of the new cultural things I could be experiencing, goodbye all of the new friends I could be making, goodbye all of the pointless soul building I could be doing (not that pointless). Adieu, I bid you farewell.
