I’ve noticed that I’m being more obsessive than usual with my phone, and it’s starting to annoy me. I feel that others around me are annoyed, and I’m annoyed that I’m annoying them. I usually just check reddit or Twitter during lunch but now it’s starting to get worse and it’s invading work life. So, I will be “disconnecting” from my phone for an entire day.

no texting or calling between usual work hours (Brett, this means you. And no burning down the apartment in retaliation. Actually, he doesn’t think I’ll make it long),
and lastly, no posts will made during work hours.
If this goes well (it doesn't matter if it does, because the next step is still going to happen whether I like it or not), I’ll be completely “disconnecting” for an entire week. My phone will no longer be on my desk and will sit in either my desk or backpack. From there, I’ll either stop using it altogether or go crazy from anxiety and go through withdrawal symptoms.
