A lot of the stuff some of you guys are saying about Marge is genuinely, genuinely fucking gross. I know she’s only a character in a show but that’s a little girl who you want to be violently hurt just because she’s annoying. I know VERY well that if Marge was a boy a lot of you guys wouldn’t be saying this. In fact, that’s literally true. If you compare Richie and Marge, they are VERY similar characters— both of them tru to make awkward jokes for validation from their peers even though they don’t land well, are generally nerdy, and have difficult times in social situations. Nobody is wishing death on Richie like they are for Marge. You hate her because she’s a girl who isn’t perfect. You hate her because she’s a girl.
