That'll do. @HallamFC1860 are through to the next round of the FA Cup without really breaking sweat, and not just because it wasn't as sunny as forecast. City of Liverpool did OK, but Hallam always looked like team from a level above without actually taking over the game. First half in particualr things just weren't that sharp and for all their play, there were few good chance for either side, with Hallam hitting too many aimless balls.
Second half saw something of an improvement, but it still took a defensive brain fade to bring about te opener. Some sort of indecision allowed a cross over the keeper and Bradbury stabbed a loose ball home. Just as you thought they were really in need of a second Litchfield came on and if the build up wasn't quite the same as the last round his few few touches took a loose ball towards goal and his finish was from exactly the same template as a fortnight ago. A third for Warren at the death, punisihing another defensive lapse both flattered Hallam and didn't. 3-0 was what their quality deserved, but not what their performance did.
