Always there to guide you - Mufasa & Simba

It was a really difficult day. Well, as king all days were. It’s been a few weeks since he returned and defeated Scar, inheriting a destroyed kingdom... A devastated kingdom what had had its golden age during his father’s reign. And now, his task was to restore the delicate balance and the great Circle of Life after Scar.

And with no experience, it was a really hard work. Simba had to do it “alone”, of course, he had his family and friends on his side, but no one had such a good experience his father had had. But Mufasa was not here - leastwise, not physically. Yes, he had told Simba that he would always be there to guide him, but he just couldn’t show up for Simba all the time.

But now, he needed him so much...

Immersing in his thoughts, Simba soon fell asleep.

A dark lion with a long but fluffy mane was seen near the elephant graveyard. That place had been forbidden so sunbathing had to go and find out what was happening

Simba was on his patrol, as king it was his task. He checked if rogue lions had been there before, or any hyenas, and so on. He also checked the borders. And today, he noticed a dark lion...

Timon was having a pretty good day all things considered.

The sun was out, piratically burning the top of his head as per usual. He sweated as he rubbed his forehead of all the water. “Ouuf...Ayy!” He called in relief despite how stressed his voice sounded.     

Finishing his stretching, the meerkat got outta bed and prepared for his perfect little Savannah meals.

In his perfect big pointy rock home with Simba and all the rest.

That being said, hadn’t he been sleeping on Pumbaa last night? Where was that Warthog now? “Pumbaa, ya can’t just pull the comfort flab out from under me.” His eyes darted around for the big red pig. Not that he had noticed in the night. But it was the principles of the thing.

“I’m gonna have a sore neck.” Assuming his head was not under Pumbaa’s gut wile he slept. The half-asleep meerkat went back for a power nap. Shutting his eyes.
