When Jon knocks on Donivan's door, it's possible that he is coming from the same direction that we later see Tyrion standing. Is it possible that Jon and Tyrion had a conversation before the "bang"? Jon and Tyrion could be conspiring together. Tyrion brought the "heir" conversation to the forefront as well as Jon's "love" for Donivan, so there is no reason to be jealous. He's betraying her and he feels horrible.
Yes, yes, yes! @nonagaye I agree with you so much. Here’s a post by my homegirl @kitten1618x about her final episode recap of season 7.
After Dany bids him entrance, Jon closes the door and we see Tyrion emerge from around the corner. Unless he’s been stalking Jon -he has perfect timing. Why is this? Could it be that Jon was just with Tyrion? Could that look they shared at the Dragon Pit mean something? Could Jon be the means as to which Varys suggested Tyrion find a way to make Dany listen? Tyrion’s expression doesn’t look like jealousy to me -he looks concerned, worried even. Has he conspired against his queen, knowing how smitten she is with Jon, to stay the course and maybe feels guilty because he knows she’s falling for Jon and he’s playing her? Have secret discussions been going on offscreen, like with the Starks, only to be revealed later? You’ve kind of gotta wonder this season …
So according to Kitten’s recap, Tyrion’s face was a mixture of worried, concerned over the fact that he and Jon supposedly (off screen as you said) partnered up against D@ny so she can be reigned in by her “fake” lover.
It’s strange, isn’t it? So many things MIGHT have happened “off-screen” especially that “infamous Sansa went to go see Bran just to make sure Littlefinger is still a shit-person” that at this point in order for me to understand this convoluted plot with D@ny and Jon being together is to assume that most of the smart things that Jon’s going to do, like betray D@ny hint hint hint is to talk to Tyrion about it first and after consulting him about what he’s going to do, Tryion might give Jon a few hints on how to seduce the Dragon Queen.
He does feel guilty, but he feels like it’s necessary to do it because if she’s not happy then no one’s happy.
There has to be someone who’s able to control her to an extent. She barely listens to her advisors like Varys and Tyrion. That’s already a big red flag since she’s naturally impulsive and hot-tempered.
What would happen if she’s not going to listen to anyone? Someone might be fed up at her leadership skills and haul ass.
Oh here’s an amazing meta on Varys betraying D@ny in the future by @lieselstark
With the look that Tryion was showing off when he was listening to them make love was pretty odd. Why make that face and why have a WHOLE SCENE DEDICATED TO IT? It just seems odd to include Tyrion in it unless the directors/writers wanted it to stay because of foreshadowing.
There are metas dedicated to Jon betraying D@ny until the end. So it doesn’t seem out of left field since he’s done it before with Y.

There are more so I’ll have to search through the Jonsa Meta tag to find them, but here are the ones I grabbed and linked real quick.
Hope I answered your question, Anon!
