Scott likes to feel pretty but he’s shy about it and possibly embarrassed. He has a Victoria Secret bag full of pretty panties he’s gotten over the last few months. Tucked away deep in his closet for him to rummage through whenever he wants. He always makes sure the pants/shorts he wear that day has belt loops to be able to keep them in place.
He has a tube of mascara he stole from his mom. He almost put it back when she spent twenty minutes looking for it one day, but he figured it’d be obvious. He watches more YouTube videos than necessary to see how to properly apply it. He can’t keep the smile off his face when he sees how nice his lashes look. He always makes sure to wash all traces of it away before his mom gets home.
He has four bottles of nail polish. One pale blue, one blood red, one that changes with temperature from white to green, and a clear coat. He paints his toenails religiously and meticulously. He really like watching them changes from white to green when he’s in the shower.
He so many soft too big sweaters he likes to lounge in. He takes comfort in them. Even with the soft colors and floral patterns no one bats an eye when he wears them out.
He bought a wig a while ago but he doesn’t wear it. He thought maybe he wanted to be a girl. Maybe that’s why he likes to feel pretty. He wore it once and didn’t like it. He very much likes being a boy he just wants to feel cute.
He thinks he does a pretty good job of hiding it. His mom never says anything and Allison and Kira never mentioned anything. But he must have slipped up somewhere because Stiles is handing him two bottles of nail polish. One silver and the other pink. “I thought you might want to broaden your color choices.”
Scott takes them with a soft “Thank you.” and small smile.
“So, am I kicking your ass in Mario Kart before or after you paint your nails?”
Scott snorts. “You couldn’t beat me even in your dreams.” Stiles gawks. “But you can tryafter I do them.”
Scott pretends not to feel Stiles watching him as he does his nails. He can’t hold back his smile when Stiles tells him they look nice. Scott totally kicks his ass in Mario Kart.

Oh man. I am probably the worst person to talk to about this. How do I even explain how Scott slowly convinces everyone to call them Scotty because regardless of how they’re feeling that day, Scotty is a neutral enough name. How do I describe that when they’re feeling more feminine they paints their toenails because it lasts longer than their nails shifting fucked up their hard work one to many times. How do I explain the first time they went sobbing to their mom thinking something was wrong, that wanting to get their hair curled, make up on,but lounge around the house in sweats and a t-shirt was wrong? How do I explain Stiles finding out and casually calling them the ‘Hottest girl’ makes them feel more alive than anything else? How do I explain that when he’s having more masculine days he pushes himself in his workouts harder. comes home dripping in sweat from their morning run. All smiles and trying to hug their mom who wiggles away from their stinky slimy touch with a laugh. How they seem to be a little more bossy in the bedroom not that Stiles is complaining because it’s great either way honestly. How sometimes they have days where they pull on a dress, sneakers, paints their nails and go running through the woods because they can. I’m probably the worst person to talk to about this.
