How do you feel about trans people? I’ve noticed that a lot of blogs that support Israel are, unfortunately, transphobic assholes. You seem smarter than that, but I thought it’d be prudent to check.

My blog is a safe space for trans and nonbinary folks. I work in mental health. Trans folk have enough challenges as it is and we don't need to go around adding senseless bigotry to those challenges.

My blog is not a safe space for TERFs who will be relentlessly mocked for their weird obsession over what 1.6% of the people in the US should or shouldn't do with their bodies or clothes or hair or name or pronouns.

It shouldnt need to be said but exclusionists have no place in a community that’s goal is to promote and foster acceptance. To celebrate pride while also gatekeeping and mocking others for their identities is hypocrisy at best, and at worst makes one no better than those who mock and oppress the rest of us. Gatekeeping and exclusionism only weakens the community and movement as a whole.
