Listen, nonbinary Steve is just such a vibe man.
+ He's both not and is androgynous at the same time in the way that people either 100% assume he's a man or 100% assume he's a woman with no in between
+ I think they use all/any pronouns, but only the guys really use anything other than he/him for them
+ Steve definitely does not realize that she's nonbinary, 1) because she has ZERO idea what that is & 2) she knows she isn't fully trans
+ Steve has spent his whole life surrounded by trans people in the gang that he's able to tell he doesn't want to transition, but there's still something off
+ Once they find out there's a secret third option than just 100% cis or 100% trans it changes their whole life
+ I definitely think Steve has more of a femme style no matter what she actually identifies with, she's just way more comfortable wearing more femme styles when she realizes she's nonbinary vs her just being cis
+ They're either in the most dramatic goth outfits you've ever seen or a hoodie and sweats
+ I don't think he'd be super vocal about being nonbinary. It's very much a if you know you know type situation and the only people he properly comes out to are the guys and Evie
+ Uhhhh idk man, whenever Dally goes to call Steve 'man' he cuts himself off and just goes silent for a minute while he reboots
+ Modern nonbinary Steve would 100% dabble in neopronouns, especially the ones that are just..nouns
+ When they came out Evie had a moment because she was convinced she was a lesbian before she fell for Steve
