She’s been working on her gown all day, and Sylvie thinks she’s finally got the drape at the hips just right. Normally she isn’t quite this fussy, but it’s her first dress for an official noble function. It’s going to be her debut as Felix’s wife.

Sylvie is making both their outfits; she had never made a suit before, but it was easy enough. She finished that last week, to Felix’s great relief. He has never been a fan of modeling for tailors, and he got frustrated with her touching him everywhere but not letting him get frisky.

That, Sylvie can understand. They’ve only been childless for a few months, and it has been hard to keep their hands off each other now that they can touch like that again. Of course they were happy to take Dara and Bekah while Dimitri was recovering and couldn’t handle them, but it was so nice to finally be able to give them back to their parents. Dimitri is never going to live down the fact that Dara’s first word was Mimi, though.
