Half a decade has gone by since I started my journey of being my true self. 12/20/2014 I got my first T shot and today i pass with no effort and am much happier than I have ever been with myself. I successfully got top surgery, I can grow a beard, I may be balding but at least I’m not suicidal.
Shoutout to everyone who has supported me on this journey, your kind words have meant the world.
I keep having “oh my god am I really doing this” moments when I remember that I’ve started taking t and I think it’s because I repressed my dysphoria so hard for so long and just also kind of being scared but it’s ok because mostly I’m just happy and relieved and excited for changes
Putting this here as a reminder to myself that having complex feelings about transitioning is ok and normal and also in case anyone else feels this way!
