Top 3 episodes of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend that will never happen.

@nonbinarysasquatch there are so many omfg.

1) We had a Hannukah/Christmas episode but there should really be/I wish there were a Passover one. Everyone gets together for a seder, they go so long and there’s so many opportunities for humour. Jokes are made, wine is drunk, matzo is eaten. Please.

2) Valencia gets a proper coming out arc. Either through flashbacks or something. Her identity is important to her and I wish we got to see more of that. Also in that episode maybe her family could show up??? Please???????? I wanna meet them so bad.

3) We know Greg’s coming back and it would be amazing if instead of him coming back as a romantic interest we get a recovery arc where we see him grow into his own person as a foil to Rebecca rather than just a love interest. He has a lot in common with Paula and I would love to see them interact, and have a duet. Perhaps about shitty fathers who knows?

No I haven't, I never got into it when I was young (even though I was a bookworm) but I have a fair amount of knowledge thanks to 1. The thousands of tumblr posts I've read 2. The many hp fans I became friends with and 3. Having seen all the movies excpet the one where Dumbledore dies. And now I'm just curious to see if I'd like it or not

I feel so conflicted because I loved Rogue One and the Last Jedi. I guess given all the TLJ discourse about how it’s a toxic film and the worst movie evar, I’ll forgive you for hating Rogue One.

like i def get the appeal of rogue one??? i can see why people would've liked it but i don't like war movies anyway and i just checked out every time jyn was on screen which made watching difficult. tlj was so good though i really don't get the hate!! like there were parts that were ehhh (titty milk) but it was a good movie!!

6, 9, 11

6- what’s your least favorite ship(s)?

This might be cheating a little bit because I don’t think anyone has ever shipped them, but Valencia/Josh. Neither of them got anything out of that relationship, really, and the concept that they might have gotten married if Rebecca had never come to town is just downright horrifying.

(Like, Josh/Rebecca was never going to be a good long-term relationship, they just have such different interests and priorities, but under healthier circumstances they might have been able to date, have fun for a bit, and then break up amicably. Very different circumstances, but it could have been possible.)

9- which episode impacted you/you relate to the most?

Josh is Irrelevant just really pins down the feelings of wanting to help someone you love through something difficult and articulate that you care while also just not being sure the best way to do that. 

Nathaniel and I Are Just Friends! still makes me tear up even on rewatches, and I think that everyone involved in that episode really brought their A-game. It’s just an emotional punch.

11- what is your season 4 prediction?

It’s so hard with this show - there are definitely events I would like to see happen, but some of them are definitely wish-fulfillment on my part, rather than any actual prediction based on writers’ intent thus far. Or, weirdly, stuff I expect to see does happen, but all topsy-turvy.

That being said, something I have always thought is that whatever Josh’s moment of self-actualization is, his pursuit of happiness will take him out of West Covina. The fact they have been so vague in-universe about why he was even in NYC in the first place just makes me think they’ll return to it. It would be interesting if he ends up returning to New York, while Rebecca remains in West Covina.
