Some quick stuff for a MilliexBlitzø AU I'm working on with a friend~

Not a whole lot has been sorted out for it just yet but I do adore it already~

What do you think would have happened if there was no Jasper and Edward was Alice's mate. How do you think Edward would react? Especially since she'd probably just show up and steal his room, claiming that she can since she's his mate. Do you think that they would have made a good couple or not? And what about Bella when they moved to Forks? Would Alice see it and tell them not to move there?

I think they probably could have worked as a couple.  They sort of understand each other better than the rest of the family because of their gifts, and I think they could balance each other out well enough.  Alice’s lightheartedness could cheer up moody Edward, and Edward could maybe ground her.  I don’t know if he’d be any better than Jasper at reining in her shopping though since Edward is perfectly happy to spend tons of money on Bella and will give her anything she wants, so I presume he’d be the same with Alice.  I think the relationship would happen pretty quickly because, just as with Jasper, Edward’s gift would allow him to know the sincerity of Alice’s intentions.  Jasper felt hope and love rather than fear or aggression from her  when they first met; likewise Edward would be able to read her mind and see her visions of them together as a couple himself.  There’s no risk—Edward would know what she felt for him and where their future was heading, the opposite of how it was for Bella.  Plus since she was already a vampire, he wouldn’t torture himself about being with her. I think she probably would have warned them away from Forks.  Not because she would see that Edward would leave her for Bella (I hold to SM/The Guide’s idea of vampire love in that once they are in love they don’t fall out, so it doesn’t really matter if Bella is ~perfect for him, once he’s in love with Alice, he’s mated to her for life), but because of the temptation she would be for him and the possible danger to the family. (I *do* wonder of them moving to Forks in canon was somehow Alice’s doing.  You’d have to think she’d have SOME sort of forewarning about Bella even if she didn’t know for sure what was going on with that until more decisions were made.)
