Hello from the new admin :)

Hi! 

Admin I here (blushing at Admin V’s kind words towards me gahh). I look forward to helping the other admins keep Luminfics up and running while interacting with the amazing followers this blog has. Thank you to Admin V for giving me a chance to help with the blog. I’m grateful to be a part of the Luminfics family <3

I am a noona fan and dedicated Xiuhan enthusiast (seriously Xiuhan 4 lyfe). I’ve been writing fics for the pairing for the last 4 years under the name London9Calling (you can find me under that name on AO3/ AFF / Twitter if you are so inclined).

Is it redundant if I end with Xiuhan 4 lyfe? Hehe. Seriously they are my favorite ship, I am beyond excited to be able to share the Xiuhan love with everyone through recs and helping with blog submissions.

hewwo ;3 are u still doin that ask meme? hehehe... > Opinion for the new characters, Yoshimoto, Ranmaru, and Motonari?

From this askmeme.  First off...I”m dumb and don’t look anything up so I know skittles outside of historical stuff.

Yoshimoto: I feel bad that I keep forgetting this one’s name.  I like his design.  I know many that go “oh no, too girly” but I honestly like it.  Gives me Nuriko (Fushigi Yuugi) vibes.

Ranmaru: I’m not a fan of shota, so like other shota, he will probably at best get lumped in the “I like him well enough” category.  Though, I am curious what they will do with the historical lover part of his story...since he and Nobunaga were lovers.

Motonari: He was funny in the chibi series.  Also, SEIYUU BIAS!  I love Konishi Katsuyuki and anything to remind me of lovely Reiji is a definite “I gotta check dis out”.  I also really like his design.  More times than not, I am a person who likes dark hair, but here I am fawning over not one, not two, but THREE pale headed males.  Cybird what have you done to me?  And him being a pirate’s already got some heated romantic appeal.  I am looking forward to his route the most.

This is the literary magazine that I intern for as an editor! Poetry, Short Fiction, Short Nonfiction, Graphic Narratives… Lots of reading material! And... You know.. My names on them as an editor...

One of the reasons why it’s sad when someone leaves the fandom is the  awareness that nothing lasts forever, not even this blog (maybe). However, something that makes you sad, can also lead to positive consequences, like Admin Ads college career and *drum rolls*... our new Admin! And let me tell you, she’s not only a xiuhan paladine but also a very talented writer. Are you courious about her identity?

Hi guys it’s admin ads. It saddens me a lot to say that I won’t be able to update luminfics anymore, I haven’t been updating since college started. I had a lot of time senior year but college just hit me like a train... I hope you guys can understand, I don’t have enough time to read fics anymore... kudos to all of you for helping keep this blog and the ship alive, and thank you for everything for the past year :) I hope you don’t hate me too much dfghj

As I said, Admin I had been nothing but kind to me. I’ve talked to her and she’ll post thoughts, once she feels ready. Don’t assume the worse and keep giving xiuhan and the blog lots of love <3

Luminfics... I loved you so much, but it's time to say goodbye. London9Calling has bullied and manipulated so many of the lovely people in this fandom, and if she's a mod now then I can no longer recommend people to this blog. Thank you for all the wonderful recs, Admin V (and all the past admins!), I've found great authors through this blog and I'll never forget how amazing Luminfics was before this.

Bullied and manipulated? I’ve never known anything about this… do you have any proof or episode to tell me? Honestly, i’ve always been at the edge of the fandom and I never know these things. I just know she writes amazing fics, had been nothing but nice to me and she really care about xiuhan.
