speaking of things that are allegedly funny
the big bang theory is like someone with no self awareness watched fraiser and didn’t understand the meta-ness of the humor. like you’re supposed to laugh at pompous asses and the silly situations they get themselves into.
the big band theory is like, “let’s mock all women for being inferior”; that’s how they set up their jokes, it’s always one of the male principle cast putting down a woman. if she’s a “nerd” like them, it’s mocking her ideas and theories. if she’s a “normie” it’s about mocking her for being that (and stupid).
they say lines and then the laugh track is played. that’s not how jokes work. this is how ready player one happened. comedy takes work. learn to set up actual punchlines for the love of god.
