So IS there a way
to use CMAR’s sim ripper and use those ripped rigs to create poses? I’ve looked everywhere I can think of, but I’ve found nothing. I’m not looking to create renders, I’m just trying to make custom rigs of my sims so I can create poses without clipping. Anyone heard / seen anything about that?
A thought that's been rattling around in the back of my head all day: is it even possible to want to feel desired/feel validated by the possibility of desire while ostensibly shooting for an end-state where body-neutrality is the goal? Are those two positions irreconcilable?
Like, if I enjoy the idea that some people might find me Good to Look At or desirable, am I just bolstering up social constructs about human beauty? (I can say that I definitely don't enjoy the mental bandwidth this has cost me today, tbh - hence putting it down here, in the void.)
Wanna know the trade that I’m afraid of...
Andre Burakovsky and Chandler Stephenson for Colton Parayko.
Here’s why: St. Louis has said that everyone is on the table for trades. Look who is being scratched tonight. With Djoos out we need a solid, young, D-man (to eventually replace Batya who if you ask me will be retiring in the next 2 years). Like they would have to throw in prospects and draft picks too. Like idk. I feel like I would be partially ok with this trade because of how I know there will be people who will love Andre and Chandler in St. Louis but like....
push of faith
it is just a precipice mike , , , , , just settle down or fall down whichever you prefer as long as your preference falls in line isn't a crime doesn't cost a dime or can be served with lime you have all the time you need but jump soon
ooh ooh what's your other favorite line than "it's beautiful" inquiring anons who are not very anon these days want to know
LOLOLOL
My other favorite of Krennic’s lines is horrible. I really love the “Here’s Lyra, back from the dead” because of the way Mendo delivers it. It’s so incredibly perfectly in character. And you can just hear the frustration in it. It captures Orson and Lyra’s relationship so perfectly.
I will admit I also love “I will not fail,” a lot.
pleasant neighbours
There’s a couple living across the street. One of them is elegant, striking in the way he moves, a sphinx of a man, manners as polished as the metal fence around their house. He greets everyone. The other, shorter, more compact, has the nature of a guard dog, bright attentive eyes, a tensed stance - not nervous but ready. His words are rare. They go out together, slowly make their way down to the town’s center, always close, never more than an arm’s length from each other. They move side by side with natural ease, traveling the same current. Even though they are rarely seen touching, everybody knows that their connection is intimate. Symbiotic. They look at each other. No questions asked, the shorter one nods. All is said. It makes people look away, as if it was something too personal to be observed without feeling intrusive.
When they return they are carrying bags of food, heavy with fresh ingredients. They are distracted by their conversation, nothing around matters at all. They consume each other fully with their words, even though its a mundane topic, their eyes are fixed to themselves. At the door, they come close, as if to kiss. They don’t and the moment transforms. The shorter one smiles, his shoulders sink visibly, a guard let down. The other’s eyes light up with life. Then they disappear into the house. Who passes the place walks a little slower, tempted by the delicious smell of a well prepared dinner, before leaving around the corner. Nothing can be heard, they are pleasant neighbours through and through.
Nobody sees them leave in the dead of night, moving like fleeting shadows, like two animals on a hunt. They fit into the darkness like they’re part of it, their hands brush together as they walk down the street and vanish around the corner. Nobody sees them return, tightly intertwined now, drunk on a rush unknown to the world around them. One of them carries a bag, heavy with fresh ingredients. They press against each other at their door, desperate to drown in their shared understanding. Heated looks, whispers. Then they slip inside. Nothing can be heard, they are pleasant neighbours, through and through…
[ for @exquisitetasteandcunning because I love our boys and felt like writing this random thing for you. ]
So I’ve been thinking about how I’m going to do this and I think I’ll do two posts for each book. When I first start, I’ll do an intro post and kind of talk about why I’m reading it and first impressions and everything. The second post will be once I’m finished and general opinions about the book. I guess I’ll tag those as spoilers just in case someone doesn’t want me to ruin a book for them. So we’ll see how this goes! First post probably coming later tonight :)
