quick story update

Working on new story posts over the weekend and refilling my queue...  to fill the space, I will be reblogging my most recent posts throughout the weekend in case anybody missed one.

Me: Man, babe, I wish I had more time to write, play Sims, just relax... I miss being creative.

My man: Yeah, I get that.

Me: It would be so cool to finish something, y’know?

Him: Sure. Hey, you thinking about doing NaNoWriMo this year?

2021 Simblr Goals

Man, 2020 was a wild one for me... I’ve seen this floating around my dashboard, and having not done one last year, I thought it was high time to get organized and feel good about my blog :-)

Start and complete one story. I have an idea that I’ve been workshopping for a while (like years) and I think this might be the year that I finally get into it. I will also be experimenting with new forms of storytelling, such as screenshot-heavy, non-dialogued posts. I just want to focus on one story this year instead of what I did this year, which was hopscotch between stories like a bat on meth, and really enjoy the process. If I get stuck for a little while, I get stuck, and I know that you’ll all be there to help me out.

Improve my editing. For a pro photographer, I’m terrible with post-processing my screenshots. I want to do more in Procreate and with my *ahem* knockoff Apple Pencil and really get a handle on my editing style, streamline the process, and generally enjoy it more.

Do something meaningful for my three-year anniversary. I will have been on this lovely platform for three years at the end of February, and I would really like to do something to celebrate. I’m not sure what yet, since I have zero posemaking or CC-making skill, but I will think of something!

Engage via asks more. I always like and sometimes comment, but I don’t send as many asks as I would like. I have so many amazing people on my dash that are talented, and I want to celebrate that out loud far more this year. I think we could all use some positivity, don’t you?
