@nonsparklyed A migraine was starting to form at the base of her skull, and that was when she decided that she couldn’t stand to be in the overly loud precinct anymore staring at a computer. She would much rather be in a patrol car, but that was not in the cards for right now. Sighing as she signed out of her computer, she rubbed at her temples for a moment before she scooted her chair out and stood up. She needed a cigarette and to stretch her legs, and should probably eat something while she was at it. Woefully, she was barely through her shift, and that thought alone made her immediately decide it was break time. She stopped at another desk on her way out, nodding at the door. “You wanna go grab lunch? I need to get out of here for a little bit.”
@nonsparklyed “Do you remember when she didn’t huff and puff about having to go out with us places in public? Because I totally do and was not prepared for this day to come.” Cotton candy in hand, she plucked off a piece to pop it into her mouth. Magnolia offered a wistful sigh, and then made a face. “I also remember the days when she didn’t want to do things like zip line and give me heart attacks. Just watching her wait in line is actually making me nauseous.”
