Harper walked through the door of their home, absolutely exhausted. She tossed her key onto the table and slipped off the chunky heels she had worn that night. Dinner service had been even more chaotic than she expected. The dinner party of 20 they knew was coming grew to 35 and another of 15 showed up. This was on top of their already fully booked Friday night crowd. The house was quieter than she expected, but then she remembered Lia was at a friends house for the night. She smiled to herself as she headed towards the wine fridge. “Edward.” She called out for her husband, having not seen him yet. She grabbed to glasses and her favorite bottle of Kim Crawford before heading back to their bedroom.
She found her husband lounging on their oversized king bed with the familiar sounds of one of their favorite shows playing. “Hey we were supposed to be watching that together!” She said playfully pouting as she came in. “I brought wine.” She said as she sat them down on the nightstand next to him. She looked up at the tv quickly. “Awe, this is my favorite episode. Alec finally takes his head out of his ass and kisses Magnus for the first time.” She commented before placing a quick kiss on her husbands lips.
