Laying on top of someone with your head on their chest or belly while they thread their fingers through your hair gently… slowly…

They hum softly, giving your sleepy mind something slow and sweet to focus on. Their heartbeats thump gently below you and your head rises slightly with every gentle breath they take. It’s not just how comfortable it is, it’s not just because you’re spending time with someone you love, it’s the fact that they know you, and they’re here anyway. The song they’re humming is one of your favorites. They know how much you love having your hair played with. They know your favorite blanket, your favorite show, and they know exactly how to make you fall asleep right on top of them.

It’s safety, really. Proof that if you were gone, they would notice. Proof that you’re worthy of being loved, because how could someone so wonderful love someone who isn’t worth it? It’s intoxicating, being loved.

That’s actually insane? I’m sorry what? I know I probably post about this a lot, and I’m sorry, but you guys don’t even know how much it means to me that you listen? And you listen again? And again?

I was in a really bad spot when I made my tumblr a few weeks ago, mainly because I finally cut off a huge group of people in my life at university that made me feel terrible consistently. In order to cope I threw myself back into a silly little side hobby I enjoyed years ago and stopped, just to get back into something that made me feel all happy again. I was honestly expecting it to be a stress relief sort of thing, I never would have imagined any of you would actually listen and LIKE it. I promise I’ll stop being all mushy soon, but I really needed to get it out there that if you’ve listened or read anything I’ve done I genuinely adore you.

I’m working on another Radioapple audio that will be done sometime next week, and tomorrow I’m planning on posting a platonic Husk and Charlie fic for you all if you wanted any updates! Again, I’m sorry for constantly thanking you so much, but thank you.
