Noonsaram Korean Dessert Cafe

Noonsaram (which is Korean for snowman) happened to be one of the few shops open on a Good Friday. Perfect as today, like any other summer day the past few weeks, was sweltering humidly hot!!!

Ironically, G ordered the Tteokbokki (spicy Korean rice cake) which he got addicted to after I had introduced it to him years ago. The rest of us got either cold drinks, plus their shaved ice desserts - we chose the Mango Bingsu, Injeolmi Bingsu (which had rice cakes and a nutty topping), and Oreo Bingsu.

The ice was milky and melt-in-your-mouth - perfect to cool down on a summer day! Taste-wise, we have tried better shaved ice desserts elsewhere, but Noonsaram's were enough to satisfy our cool cravings then.
