Here's a piece I'm proud of, following the events taken place after during the animation I posted, Noorah finds Blitzen taking momentarily shelter, in a cave away from the raging blizzard outside
i ended up getting Noorah after a couple days, i really am not immune to pretty Fortnite women.
and you know what? i did really good in the next five games 😂 she is blessed
Aphrodite and Noorah run around the island with Aphrodite in her green superstyle and Noorah masked with her hair exposed. They’re pretending to be the sad Oompa Loompa and The Unknown.
Fortnite Headcanon #645
It... it... followed me home... I SWEAR! But... FOX... how could -I- resist?! #noorah is the mum and we need to come up with our own name for this cutie... I’m a sucker. lol #elfpetsarcticfox #elfpets #elfontheshelf #fox #arcticfox #pickmeup https://www.instagram.com/p/B51MRmAgINw/?igshid=8wp6homp68ze
Noorah! A very rare and old Fox! Some say she's even older than St. Nick himself!
only fuck me if you love me after

What the Elf?
A little something I wanted to share. In my never-ending quest to increase my ever expanding collection of fox related collectibles I recently discovered the latest from the marketing juggernaut Elf on a Shelf. In this latest seemingly brand new tradition we are introduced to Noorah an Arctic fox who by the flick of her tail forms the Northern Lights which "form Santa's route so the great sleigh can fly" travels with him on Christmas eave, and goes out ahead of the sleigh to spread a layer of snow or frost on the rooftops so the sleigh can land.
A white fox with divine power... really? Now where Have I heard that before?
So where exactly does this tradition come from... aside from the neither regions of the marketing department? To be honest it really looks like a strange amalgamation of the Japanese Kitsune and the foxes used by the Julenisse. The Julenisse, Nisse in Norway and Denmark, Tomte in Sweden, Tonttu in Finland, and Jolasveinar in Iceland are barn dwelling beings, typically depicted as little men who protect and look after the homestead. They are also known to be pranksters, and will steal from other homes to provide for the home they have adopted. Sounds a bit like a kitsune that's adopted a family, doesn't it? They are also the forerunners of gnomes and Santa's elves. And they are also closely associated with foxes. Except, the Julenisse used red foxes. Julenisse have been a part of the winter holidays in some form or another dating back to pre-Christian traditions and are said to hitch up foxes to their small sleighs to deliver presents. It's also a very obscure tradition.
I did find that there is within Finnish folklore a similar telling of the prowess of the Arctic fox where the ‘Revontulet” the northern lights was explained as the arctic fox or Arctic Firefox which while running in the mountains of the far north sparks would fly up from its fur and/or the fox’s tail would sweep snow upwards and in so doing create the northern lights. Nothing about making paths for magic slighs though so far as I’ve found.
And the weirdest part of this rebranding of an old Scandinavian tradition/folklore, not only is Noorah now one of Santa's helpers, she sends out her cubs to act as a sort of moral compass for children.
