me and my sister were getting ready to play wii (I know, we suck, get over it) and there were remotes scattered across the floor from the day before bc my cousins were over and one of them is eight while the others are all five and under.

so, while I'm moving the remotes off the floor, I say, “stupid children”. then my sister kinda looks at me, so I say, “I mean, amazing beings of life.”

I think she’s a little concerned for when I'm a parent now.
