Susan's POV
Soffía and Nikolette ended up saying 'yes' to bringing Norri home, so this morning early AF I drove all the way back to Norri's former owners to collect her. As soon as I pulled up with the trailer, the boys came running to the gate to see what was happening.
Norri was of course happy and excited to see a familiar face, her son Ori. She had to be in the barn for most of the day though, since we had to find her a pasture buddy. Can't have her go alone for too long, and it's better to bond her, while she is still very new to the facility. She will possibly end up sharing her new pasture with Longears and Georgie, as they are geldings and very easy going.
We are not taking a chance by introducing her to the other mares. Especially because the mare herd is... pretty big - 8 individuals - and introducing a completely new mare to all of those horses can be very challenging. Also we don't want her injury to become worse because she is being chased by the other mares. Georgie and Longears are a lot calmer and easier to get along with xD
She is in her stall for now with a clear view of the Finn boys, so she doesn't fell alone!
