Alex didn’t know why he felt so nervous to stand outside his sisters’ apartment. He’d spoken to both of them since the attack and they assured him they were okay, but it was almost like he needed see them with his own eyes to believe it. He hadn’t told them what happened to him and Charlie and he wasn’t planning on it either. As a shifter, his wounds were almost healed by now anyway.
Alex reached up and gently knocked on the door, giving Nora a little smile when she opened the door. “hey..” he breathed, letting out a little sigh of relief he didn’t realize he was holding until he saw her.
