Wow, 2 dislikes... Whassa matter? Too many swears for your fragile little ears? Too wangwy? Or just a guilty fucking conscience that I'm actually calling that mentality out? I was pointing out that just because you wear a certain item of clothing, it doesn't justify personal and private questions from complete strangers, or anyone, for that matter. I was wearing a kilt that day, and I was asked if I was wearing underwear or not, and that I was to "expect that question" if I'm going to wear a kilt...NO! That's wrong...If a woman was asked the same question by a total stranger she would feel violated and the person asking would be liable for sexual harassment...The boot works on the other foot too. Nothing gives consent but the individual, not their clothing; sexual harassment is the same no matter the clothing and no matter the gender; human rights are for all, equally. It doesn't affect just women, it affects everyone...sooner that stigma is dropped, the sooner that fucked up mentality is addressed with the contempt it deserves, the better. No one has the right to invade your privacy; no one has the right to violate your dignity...no one has the right to get away with that shit, no one is exempt because it could happen to anybody from anyone. #Equality #Feminism #HumanRights #NoRapeApology #YourBodyYourRules #NotYourBodyNotYourChoice.
