It’s a come as you like meet up!

There will be games and pictures as well!

Homestuck to Apple Hill

Alright, this is an update on the Apple Hill meet up, but I'm also gonna reiterate a couple things.

Once again the date is November 23rd and this outing is an all day thing, so if you plan on coming don't schedule anything else on the 23rd. :3

We will meet at Mission North Park (Arden-Arcade, CA) at 9:00am. I'll be passing out maps, etc. and doing a headcount before we get on the road.

We'll be leaving the park at 9:30am, so please make sure you plan enough time to get ready and be on time. :3

If traffic isn't too bad, we should get there at about 10:30am. I'll do another headcount, just to make sure someone hasn't mysteriously disappeared, and then we'll decide what we'd like to do from there.

I'm thinking of giving us 'til about 3:00pm, which is 4 1/2 hours. With that in mind, we should get back to Mission North by about 4:00pm. Then I'll stick around until everyone's been picked up. Gotta make sure y'all get home safe.

So, that's the schedule.

Now remember no paint or horns/trickster headbands or anything you think might break. Also, dress for the weather of that day. If it's gonna rain, bring an umbrella; if it's cold, bring a jacket. You get the picture. You're also gonna want to bring money for food or souvenirs.

Now, the most important thing is having enough volunteer drivers to get everyone up to Apple Hill. So, if you or a parent can drive your fellow homestucks Please contact me with your name and how many open seats in your car via email to [email protected].

If you'd like to go, please send me an ask so I can get an estimate for how many people we'll need to transport.

Please let me know at least a week in advance if you can drive/ want to go so we don't end up leaving anyone behind. :3

Homestuck to Apple Hill!

Hey guys, I was thinking of planning a little excursion to Apple Hill. It would be November 23th, since https://www.facebook.com/events/1374868916082972/  this gathering is on the afore mentioned date.

We would meet at a local park(location yet to be decided on), and then carpool up to Apple Hill, so any volunteer drivers would be greatly appreciated.

As far as rules go, I'm gonna have to say no paint or horns/trickster headbands or anything you think might break. I really don't want to see anyone's costumes get messed up, so please be wary about what you bring with you.

Please respond by sending me an ask if you would be able/interested in going, and I'll make another post with time/park/etc. details. :3

We are throwing another fundraiser event, as you can tell its 3 themes in one: Easter, WonderLand and St. Patricks day. Full troll cosplay is allowed and so is dressing up for the theme. Anyone can help bring snacks or drinks to share with everyone. We will have a character auction slot limit is 5 and it is first come first serve. That also goes for the characters to be cosplayed for the auction as well. What part Easter event would this be without an easter egg hunt? The easter egg hunt will be judged on how many points you get for certain eggs, and the winner shall receive a wonderful prize. A raffle shall also take place with wonderful prizes. If anyone would like to donate please by all means inbox me on what you will be donation. Please properly seal your makeup

ive been searching through the tags to try and find events and it sounds like march is pretty packed already but would there be any interest in a meetup sometime late march/early april? uvu

edit: and if we do meet up would people like cosplay photos? kat and i will happily take photographs of you all uvu (and heres some weve done in the past. mostly kat/she edited all of these!)

Went to Ren Faire today and actually had two people recognize John and I (Jade) in costume!  They both snapped photos.  I was so stoked about that, not to mention Ren Faire was unexpectedly fun.  Like, really fun.  All the good parts of a con fun.  Basically I cannot wait to go again next year, and even more decked out.  But I think for what we did in a matter of a day of prep we looked super cute (pics forthcoming).
