Campfire Supper: The Aftermath! 12.06.2013
We want to give a huge thanks to everybody who came to our Campfire Supper launch at Top Farm on Tuesday 11th June. With over 180 people in attendance, the night was a huge success. Not only did we get the opportunity to share this wonderful location with some of the most influential individuals in Norwich but we also proved that business networking can take all shapes and forms!
This wouldn’t have been possible without the collaboration, support and donations of so many Norfolk businesses. From the moment our guests arrived, they were greeted by specialised Twiggle helpers, courtesy of the quirky and unique BeWILDerwood attraction, who also helped coordinating the car park. Guests were greeted by canapés from Norwich’s newest fine dining restaurant The Madder Market Kitchen, a free tipple expertly served by Brian from local wine merchants Harper Wells or a glass of real ale provided by Woodfordes Brewery.
All based around two roaring campfires set up by Mark the Canoe Man, with a craft tent set up by Sue of The Mercerie and a relaxed stage area where guests were wooed by some fantastic music acts, from the veteran blues duoThe Arlenes, esteemed Jazz singer Malaya and the fantasticDog Days of Summer. This was all photographed and filmed by skilled photographers Boo Marshall, Phil Barnes and Todd & Moore Photography.
After serving the guests a belly full of campfire curry, Sarah of Essence Foods stole the show with her delicious desserts. Guests included our good friends from the 25am Networking group, Archant and The BBC!
All in all we would like to thank everybody who provided and everybody who came, but most of all we would like to thank our esteemed hosts Clive and Evelyn Meeks of Top Farm camping for making this all possible and wish them the very best for the success of their Shepherds Hut glamping.
