I haven't been on tumblr in some time but I wanted to share this chart On here. About 3 months ago, hsv1 was positive on my blood test results. I was in shock cuz I never had a cold sore. Come to find out, a majority of people are asymptomatic carriers. More ppl have oral herpes than dont & I hate the stigma around it. Doctors need to normalize testing so people can know their status!!
most people are ignorant and don't want herpes but chances are they already have it! I've already been rejected & it was by a guy who's never been tested before. There's a good chance he has it too but he ghosted me after being honest with him and I'm so scared for similar experiences from people who also dont know their hsv1 status😓 get educated ppl!
